NEWS RELEASE:

September 8, 2008: Slungle is looking for News Anchors

Become a Slungle News Anchor!

Who:
3 Male or Female "Generation Y" young adults (ages 18-26). Must be Telegenic, bright, energetic, fun and a leader amoung your peers. You must be honest, genuine and authentic in nature.

What:
A news caster for a daily live streaming show. Your responsiblity will be to do a news cast two to three times a week. You be given much creative control if you are selected for the job. You will be selected for the position by your Gen Y peers, among the leading top qualifiers. The qualification is that you must express the news in an honest, genuine, authentic manner.

Where
The news cast will be taken from the venue of your choice. We will provide the technology and Studio application software for live video streaming from the place of your choice. The only qualification is that it must be in a location that is suitable to your Gen Y peers.

When
There will be a live show in Studio once a week to discuss topics or issues of interest to Generation Y. There will be a live daily newscast addressing what is happening in our world - with a keen eye towards the impact towards this current generation.

Why
Because Generation Y needs to be understood and heard through all of the noise in this world! Slungle has been created as a community for Generation Y to express who they are, their likes and dislikes. This is a live venue for you and your peers! It will be created and operated by you and your peers.

How
You will have much of the creative control, your community of Slungle peers will submit the news feeds for your honest, genuine, authentic description of that piece of news.

You must register on www.slungle.net and upload a clip of yourself no longer than 3 minutes in length. You must also submit, no longer that 1 page written summary of why you should be chosen as the news reporter representive for your generation. 10 finalist will be chosen by a panel of your peers. After the 10 finalist are chosen you will be asked to participate in a live shows to sway your peers as to why you should be the Gen Y representative.

After this live event, your profile, and your video introduction will be posted on the main page of www.slungle.net to be voted upon by your peers. You will not be notified of winning because you will clearly see that you are in the top three ranking as the voting takes place. The platform tracks unique IP address so voting will not be recognized from a single computer more than once.
